The forum closes for inactivity, I posted regulary. The racism stuff is a problem on the person that have that concept not on the people that is an object of those thoughts. I will miss Betyy and all the nice people.

What will happen with the signatures?

Unfortunately, your activity is only one of the gears that keeps the community running. RuneWeb is closing due to the inactivity of the community as a whole. If you are the only active person in a community, then surely it does not constitute as a community? Unless you decide to hold multiple discussions with yourself, which produces quite an illusion.

As for the racism... well, it's not really racism. We don't have any particular hatred against Mexicans. It is, at best, the personality you portray in this community and at worst, your real life personality which causes grief. I suppose I could explain why many, ah, dislike you, but it would probably take an essay to do that.

Before you decide to join any additional English communities, I would highly suggest you take a proper lesson/course on English, especially since a certain man was highly reluctant to teach you. When you are refined in the art of conversation, opinions and common sense, perhaps you can look back on your times here and understand what has gone wrong and why everyone disagrees with you.

I have a good run here at RW and over at RN. I was part of RN for 1.5 years and RW for almost 3. Throughout those 4.5 years, Rn/Rw has shaped my life into what it is now. I have learnt many valuables lessons, made good friends and overall, it brought joy to my life. I made both forums a part of my daily activities and it was like a family. Things went downhill and continued to do so for quite some time. We all knew this day was coming.

I'll always remember this community and the people that made it what it is. I'm not going to mention any names but you know who you are, even the ones I didn't talk with much. You all helped me mature as I grew older and became more involved in rn/rw. I first joined rn at the young age of 12. I just recently turned 17. I was already at the stage of maturing but you all helped me so much. I really don't know what i'd be like if rn/rw wasn't here to guide me. Thank you.

These forums were also the spark that ignited my interest in Runescape. I could not have continued to play for so long without the motivation and enjoyment of the community. It showed me that Runescape is not just a game for kids and adults to play. It is far more.

I'm not letting the closure of Rw get me down. Instead of looking at it as a closed door, I am looking at it as a new opportunity. I am going to join my old clan again and put my time in there. I will not be signing up for any other runescape fansites either. This was my first and my last. I have never really gotten involved in any clans but hopefully this will mark a new beginning for me.

Fortunately most of you are already on my rs list or msn. For those who are not, anyone is welcome. My rs name is dilbert26 and msn e-mail is in my profile. Slim and Pineapple, I'll see you in game. For anyone else, I hope to see you around in IRC (yes, it is remaining open as it wasn't really runescape related anyway).

It really is a shame that Runeweb has to close. However, I do believe everyone was expecting this.

There are some realy nice people who post here now and then and I hope that they stay the same and get the best from life.

Makoto: I just want to say a huge thank you to you, as out of everyone you had always been here for me and stuck up for me in the IRC. Thank you also for helping me with my photoshop stuff.

Spiderchild: My oldest and dearest friend of Runeweb. You have been an amazing person, as well as a great friend. If I ever needed to moan about anything you were right there. I'm glad that we had the chance to go to London together and see the street performers, it was an amazing experience. I love you to bits.

Twilight: It's a shame that we stopped speaking, I suppose we both had things happening, but I really enjoyed speaking to you on Skype almost all night. We should catch up soon, I'm interested to see what you've been upto.

There are others in Runeweb that I spoke to alot, such as Chrono, Lee, Mika, Baakalor, Slim50 and Data, but out of everyone the three guys above have seriously changed my life. Thank you. You guys deserve the best.

I can't believe this is finally happening.

However, it was bound to happen eventually. RN/RW was always the little guy against the 'big box' Tip It, Zybez, and Rune HQ. I've felt this site began to suffer from poor management after the original RW staff slowly fizzled out. The RN feel began to die. None the less, it's nearly impossible to compete against the RS fansite giants these days.

I'm not going to thank anyone specifically. Loads of people contributed to this site over the years. I spend countless hours myself working on content and posting in the forums (somewhere around 6000 posts total).

I know I was never the most respected person at RW. A lot of the time I was the one people flamed just for kicks. I know most of the poeple here respected me.

I'm going to leave some of my contact info if anyone wants to talk to me. I'm not on runescape much anymore.

In Cafebcs defense I have to say he is not really as dumb as you may think he is by reading his posts in English. He actually writes very well in Spanish and I guess he just has a hard time learning new languages even with all the time he had to practice his English writing skill on line.
