K, that def was a bad idea. Bad bad bad. I know a pure ranger with 40 def and 90 range, 60 cmb. He would easily own you, and let me tell you now the massive difference between 80 and 90 range. Personally, I think you've gotten the def too high to recover from it, but definitely no more def until 90+ range.

Heh, nice Jack. You've got some ncie stats there. Twilight is right though. 60 def is plenty much. Gl on 85 range and mage. Mage shouldnt be too much work and you already pretty high range.

No. Not worth it whatsoever. The only good part of the Karil set is the crossbow, and you only need 70 range for that. Karil armour has the exact same range bonus as black dhide, and the coif has less range bonus than say, an archers helm.

Untrue. Remember 70 def allows the use of barrows armor. The entire point of a tank is to wear melee armor while ranging effectively. Obviously you didn't know this because you didn't realize that range hits shit on barrows. Anways, to have 90 range and 40 def at 60 combat, even with 1 attack, strength, prayer, and mage, you'd have to have 30 HP. Pretty impossible to have 90 range and 40 def with 30 hp.

Anyways, 90 range and 95 range is a good addition. You would be an awesome staker. I would have stayed at 70 and gotten to 99 range, but if you want the def, go ahead.
