Well, I don't really know what to say...I havn't played quite as long as you but i've been around for the first runescape and yes, it kicked ass. I was around for the pking too...it was pretty much the place to be back in rs1. You know, all the popular and high levels would be there. Even if you weren't a high level, looting was great (although I have never gone 'looting' in the wild). I remember hearing about Splatman before I knew him from Runenews. There weren't many players at the time and news spreads fast.

Aside from Runescape, he's a great guy and from what I can see, has a great life and should keep it rollin'. Keep on pimpin' your cars and your women Micki, but I shouldn't have to tell you anyway. It would be a nice surprise if you dropped by and made another post sometime this year. Goodbye Micki, it's been nice knowing you.

You were one of the first I knew on runescape, you never really knew me too well, but back in my newb days of rsc you were the main high leveled player I looked upto. Most of the time you were the highest leveled person I came into contact with, and many of the high leveled people I met on runescape were the reason that made me play, to strive for higher levels. So in a way you helped my runescape career.
But like I said, I never really got to know you too well, but from what I did gather about you, you seemed like a good guy. Good luck in real life, you seem like someone who will enjoy it to the fullest.

Btw a friend of mine is from Dennmark, says you got a lot of windmills over there lol.

Wow, you have a great Runescape past I see. Well.. some of it wasn't too good but hey, who hasn't done something stupid like that before? We are all human after all.

So the time has finally come eh? Ah well, had to happen sometime. Can't say I ever really got to know you that well, but I have certainely been around long enough to have a great deal of respect for you, you are a RSC legend, and although many of these young RS2 players won't understand how much of an accomplishment it was to become a high leveled player back then, the rest of us who were around back then certainely can.

I could have sworn I posted here but will do it again. I can't let Splatman leave without saying my respects.

I remember you from rsc, even though you didn't know me. There weren't many players at the time and you were one of the highest well respected players, like you said. That is how I heard about you, plus I liked to watch pking in the wild.

I've always had respect for even though we didn't talk much. I knew you'd quit rs at some point and you have a great reason too. Your life seems awesome and you've got a lot to live for. Have fun man. but please, don't forget about us, even if something does happen. We'd all love to see you post again whenever you can.

Hullo,

First off, Dilbert.. you did post.. that was your 2nd post ;D!. Look up on page 2.

I never told in the post where I was going with my RL!... Uh uh, well here it goes:

I joined the army some months ago, and I'm having alot of combat training these days.. In a few months I'll shift to another "army" unit and there I'll start my training for foreign missions, first off I'm going to Kosovo.. Not afghan as some may have heard. I'm leaving for Kosovo in Februar '09 .. And coming back to Denmark around August same year. I'll then work a few months as a regular soldier or whatever they do, then I'll start in school again, this time to become a sergent, that happens around november '09.. It takes 8 months before I'm back in my own town again but then I'll also be a sergent. Sergent Dines ;D!.
There I'll work for a few years having young people doing their basic training and if it's still needed I'll do an Afghan mission there.. And then I'm leaving the military. Atleast that's the plan for now.

Nice to see people doesn't really care about my choices in RS.

Micki in the army eh... sounds like someone's going to get hurt Just make sure it isn't you.

Talking about some of those things from RS1 brings back some memories.. the thieving bug in particular.

All the best dude, it wasnt long ago that you told me about you being in the army so this was inevitable to say the least.

You, along with Roth, were/are the longest standing friends of my rs career and will continue to be so.

Yes.

It was merely coincidence that one day I thought I would drop in out of the blue from a two year posting absence that you were making your official 'leaving' thread. In a way it's nice to see others putting down RS for real life stuff. Once you find your passion, or in this case, your niche in the army, you will wonder why you didn't stop playing sooner.

P.S. In case you were wondering why my character has levelled some within the last two years is beyond me. It is a 'friend' who I gave my password to years back who then got his main character banned through autoing. My guess is that he uses mine full time now. Oh well.
