Team capes are old. Really old. Grand Exchange has been talked about in the rs backgrounds. Treasure trails are overdone.

Two problems.

1. I don't know the quality of capture we'll get if we do this sort of thing,
2. I don't know how big the signature will be after it's done.

It could very well set us over the brink. But I like the idea, so I'm willing to give it a shot.

Jagex didn't design the backgrounds for our current sigs. All they did was the icons and the characters. Besides, we do credit them there anyway.

That'd defeat the purpose of our dynamic signature, which was intended (at first) to be an advertising gimmick. Yeah, it's popular, but our actual market affect area is small, so we're just tweaking them now to make them better.

Don't worry. The signatures will have RuneWeb plastered up someplace on them.

On the topic of your own/non rs-related backgrounds, I have seen a site with backgrounds such as Family Guy and Halo.

Looked like crap.
