(Wow, I didn't notice that every other little thread here was locked...)

Anyway, I won't mince words or go into some long spiel about how we're changing stuff, or any of that. What I want to hear from you all is suggestions and ideas about the signatures. Period.

Keep in mind that I'm going to be handling the visual stuff, but the technical suggestions might be worth considering, if they're feasible enough.

What I need to know from you guys, is how we can improve our already popular signatures. What do we need to fix, what color scheme should we be aiming for, that sort of thing. I don't wanna hear anything about "you should make poses like Draynor", since I really don't wanna deal with them breathing down our throats. Period.

If you have a suggestion, post it here. If you have a character pose, PM it to me. I won't even consider it if you post it here, since it'd show you can't follow directions -- wouldn't matter if it was the coolest thing to hit RS since Legends.

For your character pose, I have a few rules:

1. If you're going to do it on freeplay, dress up in the coolest stuff that freeplayers have.
2. Dragon's been done.
3. Barrows brothers have been done, but I'd love to see a bit more expansion on that.
4. Exceptionally cool poses (weapon specs) merit cookies.
5. If I see any plain Jane stuff out here (like Rune, Adamant, Black), it will be deemed doubleplusungood crimethink. I'll see to it that Miniluv restores goodthink fullwise.

EDIT: I'm also considering another method, instead of just characters -- panoramic screenshots of in-game activity. Same rules apply as with the character sigs, meaning they must be PMed. For those that couldn't follow instructions the first time, don't even bother with the second time. Thank you.

Also, don't just think you're constrained here. I want you to think outside the box -- how should we present our signature data? What should be presented? Why do you think so? Give me more feedback on this.

One more thing -- I'm considering a method where you can upload your own screenshots to use for the signatures. Of course, the strictest thing is that there isn't any porn/indecency, and you'd have to have an active RW account (meaning at least 75 posts). Give me feedback on this, too.

Panoramic rules:

1. No, a church isn't cool.
2. Neither is a bank.
3. If it's too dark I can't use it.
4. There's a really good chance I don't want your character in the shot, but if it's unavoidable, look sharp. Get some of your friends around, too.

Alright, so let's hear it.

(P.S: We've got the official icon, and we've got the formula ready to go. No need to bug us about Summoning anymore )

If summonign will work as prayer you could change combat calculator.

I still thinking they will remake the combat calculator, but maybe not.

I could send you some poses of trimmed or gold trimmed armors.

I thought I said, "not to worry about Summoning". This thread's here for ideas about new features only.

As far as gilded, I'm not too sure. Sure it looks nice, but it's so...plain...

Jk. I wonder if someone could upload or specify their desired background (with stats being slapped on top of it)? Backgrounds are more important than poses, in my opinion.

Oh yeah, let's hear some things about the background too. The gradient idea is nice but let's expand on it a bit more.

What backgrounds of RS should we include? If you have one in mind PM it to me (like you would a pose).

well my suggestion is if its possible to let a signature update by simply clicking on it this will probably save time and let our signatures gain more popularity.

That is a very good idea and I'm surprised we didn't think of that. Tangerz must have been the idea maker for the signatures.

I'll tell Cata about it and he'll probably get on it asap.

Sig Edits: BTW, our classic stat sigs have been updated with a Summoning icon. The Summoning Goal Sig will be out soon as well, and don't worry, we'll have new stat sigs out with new pictures sometime this week.

Yeah. Poses and the like are all good and gravy, but I'm thinking of a totally different concept myself.

What if we were to incorporate some sort of in-game background along with the signatures?

I'd also like new concepts on how the signatures could be laid out/displayed. Let's hear some fresh ideas, people.

I would suggest allowing visitors to upload their own desired background, and then let the stats be pasted onto the background, if it's possible at all. It would take up space and bandwidth though, and for what, a few more users using our signatures?
