This is the new icon after the release of the 4th development diary. My sig already have the summoning icon that i found some weeks ago.



Jagex updated today the world map. There are more water around Feldip Hills. The third quest of the month will be around there.

"Your Hunter, alongside your Woodcutting and Firemaking, will be called upon in our third and final January quest. In it, you will be asking yourself several questions. How do I clear a mud bath of flies? Why am I sleeping on a pork chop? Is an ogre massage a good idea? And what are platypodes? Take time out from your adventuring to help an entrepreneur set up a spa resort deep in ogre country. There might even be a mudpack in it for you."



Unbalanced Trade Removal Killed Air World (16). I think balanced trades and assist system needs an adjustment for f2p. The 3k limit to EVERYONE on f2p kills all forms of trading and the 30k limit to ALL PLAYERS on assist system just kills any form of helping new players on his incomes.

Jagex should apply adjust to f2p before all non members stops playing f2p.

...But it's freeplay.

Doesn't matter much if you have a Dragon chain or 200+ QP on freeplay, it all counts for nothing unless you pony up the doe for Membership.

If it's a new player to freeplay, they can do what all of us did way back when, and get a pickaxe, mine until level 30, then mine nothing but coal. If they don't wanna do that, they why should I cater to laziness?

Jagex shouldn't apply the adjustment to Freeplay, either. They have a cap of 39 QP, and if the freeplayers that have more than 200 QP aren't paying, they shouldn't be receiving any benefits.

By the by, why should we be concerned if freeplayers decide not to play anymore?

You need to stop being retarded (read: retardado) and realize that if you're f2p, Jagex doesn't care about you very much. They will not cater to you. They're going to do everything in their power to make the f2p game (as compared to the p2p game) as miserable as possible to either force you into buying members (giving them money) or make you quit playing on f2p servers (allowing them to close them, and save money)

This is the second night reaching the 30k limit on assist system. I got 30k runecrafting free. I'm not affected but people on f2p are more poor everyday (except me). They will end quitting someday.

Cafebcs, you should've realized that Twilight made a very valid point. It's true in any model you put it in, no matter whether or not it's this game or another, or even if it isn't a game (like computer-related Customer Support). The only reason I left it up there, mostly intact, is because of its relevance.

Let's not forget that JaGeX got ads to cover for the cost of F2P and it is quite likley they earn money on them but most likley less then 5USD per month per users so P2P all the way!

and on the price of air runes:

Runesape doesn't have a working economy (GE setting controlling prices) and JaGeX has potential to control the prices at wish (communism) so the price of air runes will not increase to any greater extent, as it would have in a working economy.

I think you don't get what im saying. F2p is a paradise for me, because im highlevel, and all that stuff.

I'm worried for the new generation of players, im 28, im almost leaving rs. I'm thinking of what we leaving to the new 12-13 years old on the game.
