Here's an example:
For a Rune Set you need 1800 Iron Ores. In game, you'll buy 1800 Iron Ores for 90gp each...

1800 x 90 = 162000 = Rune Set = 190000 (Sell the Rune Set for 190k) - 162000 (Cost of Iron Ores) = 28000gp!!!
