Due to marked forum inactivity and a general business, the [former] Events Team and I have decided to go ahead and close down shop until activity can pick up so that we don't have to "hope for a good turnout". This decision comes after some deliberation and a huge dose of reality for us all.

Of course, this doesn't mean that we won't have Events ever again; this just means we won't have one huge team. Since the next line of Events will be mostly 'unofficial' and our holiday Drop Party, I've decided to lock this board and redirect all events postings to the RuneScape Chat board. Here, not only will you be able to post your own event, but ask about them in general (i.e. When are we going to do x event?). This is until forum activity can pick up enough to where we won't have to hope for big turnouts at our small events, yet expect the fire marshal to tell everyone to get out of my POH [during a drop party] since we violate some sort of fire ordinance.

Until we see you at our next major drop party, you'll be seeing some of our Events team working on Staff projects.

Later,

~Makoto and the Events Team
