Jagex often makes a low level update then a high level update. The haircut update i think is the low level one. The quest clue is mentioned at end of document, i think because jagex needs time for prepare a high level update.
Maybe those monsers will drop a blood talisman for the future blood altar release.

The amount of low level players far outnumbers the amount of high level players. If Jagex makes an update that is ONLY geared towards high leveled players (100+ or so), there would be a massive uproar from the low level whiners who think they should be catered to, why? because when you are 10 years old, the world revolves around you. There was an uproar when Jagex released Dream Mentor, or whatever that quest was called. Jagex would be stupid to make an update that is geared towards just the higher leveled players, especially a good one, they would be getting a gargantuan amount of complaints and whatnot.
Cafebcs, what you appear to be talking about is a super high level update, and what you talk about just is.......well..........retarded, a multi hit cape for level 126's, another dragon item only a month after they just released one, good god man, why don't they just release a whole new skill while their at it?

Thing one and thing two, Cafebcs is actually make more sense than you.
Cafebcs, while that all does add up a bit, I would bet money that the new dungeon will not be in Troll Land. Also I sincerely doubt that the Godsword will be a Dragon Item; however its sounds like there could be more than one Boss NPC, so maybe one of them does drop a Dragon Item.
Your idea about the release of the Blood Altar is a good one, and I could see that happening. However, as proven in the past, things that Jagex hypes up can turn out to be quite lame; so there's a chance that us thinking this massive update will be a big let down.
As far as that confirmation on a skill in progress, I would guess that it won't be released this month - big relief - since they didn't mention anything I would think refers to a new skill; however they barely hinted at a new skill the month Hunter was released, so it is entirely possible.
I for one have extreme hopes that they don't release a new skill any time soon.

Now why can't they have a big update and make the graphics look better? Like all the interface and everything is great, but its not good when you have 2d graphics. Should upgrade all graphics to like Guild Wars graphics.

i played runescape for 5 years, and not once have they ever attempted to make their graphics better. the rs2 is like putting depth into its 2d. i just think it would be much cooler if everything was better in graphics, like requiring a geforce series 6 or higher to play.
