Another runeweb event through, this time not so sucessfull. Unfortunately it did not go as well as we hoped and a lot of things came up and messed up this event. It was planned to be much longer and we did have different clues but we were short of Runeweb Events Staff to helpout. (Btw, there are applications up to become a Runeweb Event Staff member! Click here to apply.

So what went wrong with this event?

• We were short on staff to give out clues so we had to cut a few clues out.
• The clues were more difficult than we thought. We did have different clues which probably would have been better.
• The turnout wasn't all that bad, but we were hoping for more, especially since there were prizes to be won.

To those who did show up, got a nice surprise at the end. There was a surprise drop party in which a lot of stuff was dropped and everyone walked away with a fair chunk of items. Some people managed to pull in quite a bit of items, spikey in particular. We hope that drop party made up for the poor event.

Again, I appologize for the event. It was well planned but real life situations came up for our staff. Remember, life comes first. I hope this doesnt turn anyone off from participating in future events. With our new events team, we plan on holding more and better events.

So please, post any pictures, comments, suggestions and your overall oppinion of the event and what could have been done better.

^_^ i also got secound place in the thing u guys call a " t trail" it was fun untill u deleted all clue and people got lost... however to most poeple the drop party at the end made it all well for most!

Well, in Brazil we have the summer time, when clocks are setted 1+hour.
I believe it happens in another countrys like England (i know they arent in summer yet).
You can see São Paulo, in Brazil (-3 GMT) is currently -4 GMT (London time).
Same happens to eastern, currently -5 GMT.
Time converter doesnt work right (23 GMT is converted to 20 São Paulo time) and event was at 18.
Of course im taking London time as GMT, dunno if its correct to do that.
This happened because im not used to eastern/western time as i live in another country.

Im not complaining, just explaining why i didnt come.
Hope you guys had a lot of fun, i losed it, logged 1 hour later.

Yeah. Apparently the event was one hour earlier, so it was over when I arrived. Although I did get some drops.

It was pretty fun. I mean, the drop party at then end was a good suprise. Even though things went wrong, I can imagine if the other members of the events team had showed it would have been really good and challenging.

I liked event, its my firdst one and was fun. I was lost on rimmigton waiting on chemical place lol. Then went varrock for see (since are the same guys)

I had fun, dont worry about =)

I am really sorry, I missed it, I have had lots of stuff to do at home, I couldn't even reach my comp at that point in time as I had like ALL my belongings in the corner of the room . I will try my best to join in next time

i think the whole event teams need a very loud applause, they did a great job with this event, it was fun ever if i didn't make it to the end. Keep it up guys and hopefully i'll get to more of the events in future.
