End-User Responsibilities

By registering you agree to the terms below.
Violations of the rules listed in this color are subject to immediate action, including but not limited to a permanent ban.

1. The RuneWeb Administration and Moderators reserve the right to remove anyone's access to these forums at any time, without warning.

2. Those who break the rules will receive warnings, followed by either a temporary or permanent ban once you reach 5 warnings. (A warning may not be given in the most severe cases that warrant immediate action.)

3. All links provided on the forums (unless DIRECTLY linked to RuneWeb.net OR RuneScape.com) are unofficial links. We cannot verify their safety at any time, and thus you should click them at your own risk.

Posting

1. All posts must comply with Jagex rules. This includes posting anything that is perceived to be against these rules, such as (but not limited to) reverse modifications of Jagex game servers, third-party clientèle, or controversial post subjects. Any post found to be in violation of any of them will be removed and the poster warned.

2. While we value your opinions here, one-liners or anything off the main subject of the topic itself is spam. Spam is not tolerated here, and will result in the post being removed or a warning if the offense is severe.

3. Flaming is the act of degrading someone on the boards; this is highly frowned upon and WILL lead to disciplinary action, based on the judgment of the moderators. Also, racist and antisemitic posts or flames will NOT be tolerated.

4. When you post a new topic, your title must be descriptive of the topic's contents. You may not include attention-grabbing designs or many repeated characters at the beginning or the end, nor may you make a title that goes against our rules.

5. If an image stretches the board, please edit your post and change it to a link or crop your image to fit the board. The limit for a posted image's width is 800 pixels.

6. Do not post or link to any pornographic, obscene, or non-prescription/illegal drug-related articles of any sort on the forums, in your signature, in your profile, or even via PM. This will result in a permanent ban.

7. Bumping on this forum is not allowed, except in the Marketplace forums and to update an old thread that you may have posted. A bump is 14 days from the last post and 21 days in the Marketplace. Always remember to check the dates of the post before you reply!

8. One RuneWeb account per user, please. Duplicates or accounts found to have spoofed or fake e-mails will be immediately removed and a possible IP ban may ensue.

Signatures and Graphic Arts

1. Absolutely no plagiarism of any sort is permitted on these forums. This will result in a permanent ban from the forums.

2. You may actively advertise in your signature, but do not link to sites which may be considered harmful. Links found with excessive lettering or numbering (not originating from the RuneWeb server itself) will be removed.

3. Avatars may only be 80 pixels wide by 80 pixels high and a maximum file size of 10 kilobytes. If you choose to use an image in your signature, it may only be 400 pixels wide by 175 pixels high and a maximum file size of 43 kilobytes. You may have a maximum of 4 lines of text in addition to the image. If you do not use an image, you may use a maximum of 7 lines of text. You may use up to 3 images in your signature as long as the combined dimensions and file sizes do not exceed the limits of 400 pixels wide by 175 pixels high and a maximum file size of 43 kilobytes.

4. Avatars & Signatures may NOT be stolen/copied from another user without their permission, nor may any piece of digital art be sold for RuneScape currencies. You may not accept any RuneScape currencies for any digital work.

5. The RuneWeb Signature can be found by following this link. All questions you may have pertaining to it except for downtimes have already been answered there. Do not make a post of how your stats do not appear in the signature. Any post that pertains to the RuneWeb signature (how to get, use, why your stats do not appear, etc.) will be deleted.

Likewise, if you feel you have been privately or publicly harassed by another member of this community, you may report this to a Global Moderator or an Administrator, via PM. Please do not make a post on the forums relating to this matter. Provide as much evidence as you can when you report the incident, or we cannot take much action.

4. No one is above the law. Report whatever actions you may feel are in violation of these rules.
